Richardson L. Frederick the Third, Better known as "Fred", is the main protagonist of all the Fred game series (Running Fred, Falling Fred, Falling Fred Z, Super Falling Fred, Skiing Fred, Skiing Fred Versus, Clicker Fred, and Football Fred).

Personality[]

Fred is a timid but gentle person. It is unknown how he would behave normally (not being chased by Grimmy), but it can be assumed that he is a very relaxed person because he likes things like recycling and walking on the beach. It can also be assumed that he is very unlucky, as the Falling Fred newspapers imply that he fell off of the building on accident (or he jumped off the building, as he is called "stupid" and "idiotic" in some newspaper headlines) and his soul got sold by his evil twin Alfreddo after he recovered in the hospital, so he is stuck running away from Grimmy forever. (read more about this in the lore section). Fred is also prone to panic attacks, especially when he is in danger. However, these panic attacks can lead to him causing chaos like in Skiing Fred, where he destroys barriers and outhouses, as well as hitting penguins and Eskimos, even when they do not harm him.

Appearance[]

He appears to be a young child who wears long blue pants and a white T-shirt with a recycling symbol on it. However, in Skiing Fred, the recycling symbol is replaced with a lime green D-pad symbol and Fred has a vertical white stripe with a thick black outline on his pants. He has orange freckles, small green eyes, orange eyebrows, and a giant head. He also has orange hair with one tuft sticking out from the top and a bandage on the side of his face. However, in Football Fred, Fred's eyes are larger, he wears a long-sleeved blue shirt with a white stripe on top, and he has more adult-like proportions. This could mean that he grew older after the events of the previous games and is no longer a kid.

Lore[]

In Falling Fred, Fred appears to have fallen off a building and started plummeting through many deadly obstacles. After he fell on the floor, he was taken to the hospital and given a massive medical bill. Afterwards, Fred's twin brother Alfreddo wanted to buy a new hat, but instead of paying real money for it, he sold Fred's soul to Grimmy so he could get it. Afterwards, Grimmy was paged to collect Fred's soul, and whenever he dies or gets chopped by Grimmy, he is sent to Hell for two minutes (two millennia in Hell). Afterwards, infernal management decides he should not be there, so he is brought back to life (either in Grizzly Manor, Danger Caves, or High Stakes) and chased by Grimmy all over again. This cycle repeats endlessly. Fred somehow escaped to a snowy mountain according to Skiing Fred's official trailer, but he did not break the cycle because he can still revive. Fred climbs up a mountain, but Grimmy chases him up. Since Fred realizes that he ran up a tall mountain and can't jump down safely, he starts praying to God to save him from Grimmy. However, God gives him the middle finger, and Fred has no choice but to jump down. As Fred landed in an outhouse and used its door as a snowboard, Grimmy followed him down, but it is unknown if Fred finally got away from Grimmy or if he is still stuck in the loop.
